John Woodnutt, entrepreneur and inventor of electronic lighting control technology, has been awarded an MBE for services to Business and Entrepreneurship in the 2023 New Year Honours list. The award-winning hotel tower is home to 470 rooms and suites, a business centre, meeting room facilities, health club and spa: the adjoining office tower, linked by a shared podium, provides 55 storeys of high class commercial and residential accommodation.
The Delmatic system manages lighting throughout the public areas of the hotel including comprehensive scene-setting and mood management as well as sophisticated monitoring and management of lighting throughout the office tower shell and core areas and the adjoining carpark building.
The system comprises lighting control modules, presence detectors and multisensors and provides full management and monitoring of lighting within both towers from a networked head-end PC.
