Emergency monitoring & testing

Flexible and scalable modular system

The advanced Delmatic DALI system graphically manages and monitors lighting across the sixty-eight floors and incorporates comprehensive testing and monitoring of emergency lighting and battery packs. The fully-flexible system combines energy-efficient presence detection and daylight linking with aesthetic scene-setting across the public and residential areas, and residential amenity spaces such as the wellness centre and spa, double height pool overlooking the docks, business lounge, private dining and screening rooms, and the stunning residents lounge on the 56th floor – the highest bar in London.

Delmatic’s DALI Buswire modules – located at hubs around the building – provide individual addressing and monitoring of every light fitting and this total flexibility enables lighting scenes and scenarios to be configured and adjusted to reflect time of day, weather conditions, special events and individual preferences. Lighting in fixed back-of-house areas such as basement routes and spaces are controlled by DALI Broadcast devices which provide the monitoring and efficiency benefits of DALI without the need to individually address each fitting.

Optimised energy-efficiency

Delmatic DALI presence detectors optimise energy efficiency by initiating reduced lighting scenes in unoccupied areas while DALI multisensors regulate lighting levels to reflect daylight contribution. Delmatic DALI Touchpanels with custom graphics provide powerful scene-setting controls for lighting levels and ambience within the Residents’ Club Lounge and Wellness Centre.

BMS integration maximises operational efficiency

Delmatic’s Smart IP Routers network the lighting management system across the building IP backbone and avoid the need for a dedicated vertical lighting control cabling. The Smart IP Routers also interface the lighting management system with the BMS via BACnet/IP to maximise building operational efficiency through the sharing of key real-time data. The system also plays an important role in ensuring the safety of the building’s occupants by seamlessly interfacing with the fire alarm system to automatically illuminate exit routes in the event of fire alert.

Delmatic Lightscape graphical software provides networked and remote monitoring and management of the complete lighting installation with real time intelligence and analytics including detailed emergency light monitoring, testing and the operational status of every lamp and driver.
